David S is completely wrong on this. Yahoo is a user moderated site which means we are all moderators. Each individual can report and the more accurately we report the more influence we have. Reporting falsely loses us influence.

The link Chaos gave you takes you to the Yahoo! Careers internet site, the place you are able to learn extra approximately working at Yahoo! or submit a resume. of course, everyone who comments a query or answer that violates the community rules is particularly a moderator additionally. we've some different suggestion on the thank you to help us seize abuse with out it being published, yet going over consumer comments is a substantial area of finding content fabric that doesn't belong on Yahoo! solutions.

There are no human moderators. Only computer programs that respond to pre-programmed cues, such as two or more reports of abuse. You will notice this if you ever try to contact a real person at Yahoo. About the only people that actually work there are IT, management, and salespeople. All content is pulled from other sources or from Yahoo users.
