I bleached my hair about 4 days ago, when can I bleach again?

My hair was dark brown, but I'm going for blond. I bleached it once which lightened it a lot, especially at my roots. But the bottom of my hair is still very dark. I was wondering when you think I would be able to bleach the bottom part again without damaging my hair too much?

If it matters, I used Herbal Essences bleach(in the pink box). It left my hair feeling very soft and smooth, so I don't think it damaged it at all.

Thank you everyone!

Update:

MP: That was no help at all. Thanks for being an ***.

Update 2:

I should mentioned that I'm not trying to have platinum blond hair. I'm trying to get it light enough so it can be a dark golden color. Naturally that's what my hair is, but I've been dying it brown for about 4 years.

At the shortest time, wait two weeks before going to bleach it again. Personally, I would wait longer, and get it done by a professional to ensure that you keep the integrity of your hair. The bleach you're using more then likely has some sort of conditioner in it making it feel that it's soft and undamaged. All bleach will damage your hair, no matter what.

My advice is to just wait about 2 weeks, maybe longer if you can, and then to bleach it again. Try going to a salon since bleaching can be very tricky and can go wrong easily. And make sure you are conditioning your hair after all this bleaching, it will need it.

    Good luck!

I too have bleached my hair from dark brown to blonde but it took years, stupidly of me. If I'd have known of the finishing product I wouldn't have spent so many years dying it. Please Please try schwarzkopf Live XXL, in other countries it can be known as Nordic. It is permanent and really does the job.

If you don't want your hair to get damaged, please do not dye it for a long time. I know this first hand, and it has taken me years to get my hair into good condition now. I used to dye it every 3 weeks, now I dye it every 4 months. If you want you REALLY want your hair as light as you say, then please take the product I have given advice on. You can buy it online on ebay and stuff like that, and it doesn't fade.

If you have money, the best way to keep your hairs natural good condition is to get highlights in the hairdressers every couple months. To keep the condition of your hair good, also use leave in conditioners on the days or weeks you don't go out, and don't wash them out until you have to.

I'm no hair stylist but I am a 16 year old bleacher, trying my best to maintain my bleach blonde look without ruining my hair. You can do it as soon as possible if you like, I mean nobody can declare what's too soon or not. Just look after your hair with the advice I gave, or at least try. Hope I could help :D

Once it finishes falling out, and then grows back, you can bleach it again. You can repeat this until you run out of hair.
