Can you see the lunar eclipse?

I can see it here in Michigan!

Geoff Chester of the US Naval Observatory inspected a list of eclipses going back 2000 years.

“Since Year 1, I can only find one previous instance of an eclipse matching the same calendar date as the solstice, and that is 1638 DEC 21,” says Chester. “Fortunately we won’t have to wait 372 years for the next one…that will be on 2094 DEC 21.”

Winter arrives at 6:38 pm.

Have a great day!

    Great Post Doug4

I saw the eclipse too. It was about two in the Morning and I was at work here in northern Arizona.

It's a Little surreal seeing celestial Phenomenon. Most of it is Glacial in terms of time and not easily compacted to one persons Life.

That the earth was round was known from the time of Socrates{ Columbus Misinformation be damned}. How-- did they know this--- By eclipse of the Moon. By the roundness of the shadow.

That the ancients--THOUGHT this stuff out for themselves so that others may START from that point is a triumph of all things Human.

By contrast, that the opposite--Glen beck, say-- Is "on the air"

how do we suffer ourselves to breathe it.

    Thanks Brother
