Property Management Cost to rent out home?

Have a home that I'm thinking about renting out and need to know whats involved and the cost if I use a property management company.

1. What information will I have to provide the company with?

2. What services do most property management companies provide?

3. How much do they charge?

The costs all depend on where you are. We are property managers in Texas and we would need your name and address to send you checks. We collect rents and deal with the tenants and maintenance issues. We charge 10% of gross rents + $25/hr + expenses for maintenance. We also charge 1/2 months rent for placing a tenant. Be sure you get a contract with your management company that specifically states what they will do for you and what costs are involved.

Varies organization to organization. Some cost a "placement rate" identical to part a months's hire for the position of a tenant, then afterwards, they cost among eight - 10% for leadership. Some most effective cost for the leadership & no placement rate.
