Is it possible to fall in love in a dream?

I think I was watching Harry Potter too much. One day I decided to watch all the current Harry Potter films in just a few days. Naturally I'm astounded by the beautiful appearance of Emma Watson. I had a dream two days ago where we were in a relationship. We talked and stuff and all of a sudden I realize that I'm in love with her. I don't know if this is infatuation or whatever. I never really paid that much attention to her until after I awoke from the dream. Now all I can think about is Emma Watson. Please don't call me obsessed or some crazy fan. Is it possible to fall in love in a dream and retaining the feeling after a while?

Yeah shes ******* hot as hell but if youre really desperate to consider falling in "love" from a dream? From watching people ACT in a movie, you are an obsessed idiot. Youll realize it later and be embarrassed, best advice, delete this question and forget it

Haha, this has happened to me before with a guy from one of my favourite movies, and I retained the feeling for about a month or so. I think its just a strong infatuation because you "got to know" the person in your dreams. It won't last very long I'm sure. I'm almost positive you're not in love with Emma though, [:

I doubt I have a really good answer for you, but I do know what you mean. Like I have a girlfriend and I think I love her but I can't see myself with her forever. But almost every night I never fail to have this dream about her and I, whre everything is perfect and I just feel so in love with her and she doesn't annoy me and is everything I could ask for. Then I wake up, and I'm more discontent everyday with her. I just wish I could stay in that dream. Like whenever I feel myself waking up I feel anxious, angry and a little lost. I'm definatly in love with that dream

Haha I think everyone has done that. You have a dream about being in a relationship with someone and just constantly think about it for the next few days. It's nothing real. Of course you're not really in love with her. She's just the object of your attention right now. It will surpass.

Yes. I have had dreams, in which I fell in love with something, or someone, and after awaking was sorely moved by the realization it was just dream.

Dreams are your subconscious playing out your thoughts and wants so be careful, it could mean nothing, or (as I'll assume since you had the nerve to ask) it could be something important you realized, follow you gut on this one.
