How many credit hours do i have to obtain at a college to graduate from THAT college?
So right now I attend UIC and im about to start my 2nd semester of my junior year and i want to transfer to U of I but if i transfer ill be transferring with 98 credits, and all i need is 128 credits to graduate, So if i transfer to U of I ill just take be taking 30 credits at their school. so my question is am i able to graduate and get a degree from U of I if I only take 30 credit hours there? or is there a minimum amount credits i have to take at U of I in order for me to graduate from U of I.

probably not. I don't know how it works with them, but in my school system, I was only able to transfer a maximum of 54 credit hours. You have to take at least half of your total credits there. call the school's registrar if u want specifics

Most schools require you get 60 credits from them in order to get a degree with their name on it. I suggest you call the admissions office at U of I and ask them their policy.
