Why do I feel so sad about this?

Its because your baby is growing up! You'll feel it a lot in the next few years... But its normal:). Moms sometimes cry over things that seem silly to others, but moms just have special hearts, I suppose. My mom just randomly cries over baby pictures, our 'firsts', birthdays, etc. Its a mom thing:)

It shows you love your daughter.

I remember when I was about 7 or 8 I had a major crush on a boy. I held it in because I was scared my mom would make fun of me or she would get mad at me because she really freaks out about boys.

Especially now. But anyways, just talk to her, make her feel comfortable that you're comfortable. That's what I would have wanted from my mom. When I told my mom that I liked boys and had crushes, her "Mom Protector Meter" went on. :/

Some thoughts I have would be that you don't feel that your daughter can trust you or that by finding the pictures you feel that she is growing up. That's just a thought. Hope you feel better about it ;)
