What could my odd dream mean?

A few nights ago, I had a dream in which I was about 20 years old. The part of the dream I remember most is standing on an enclosed porch with a 4 year old boy named Christopher, who I implied to be my adopted son, and my aunt. It was autumn, and the trees were full of leaves hat were red and yellow. I think it was Thanksgiving actually. Anyway, Christopher was the spitting image of my youngest uncle (he's about 6 years older than me), which I find weird looking back. In talking to my aunt, I revealed that I was in college for journalism, and married to a 24 year old FBI agent. We also had a 3 year old adopted daughter.

What does this mean? Also, I'm 16.

Update:

Yeah, I do want to be a journalist, actually.

And I watch Bones, where the main guy is an FBI agent.

I never saw my daughter, I only saw my son. He had blue eyes and dark brown hair. I knew his name was Christopher because, in the dream, I looked at him and said, "Come on, Christopher."

Dreams are mostly what you think about during the day meaning if you watch a love story or you are lonely and wanting a man and think about it during the day when you sleep at night your thoughts can be create a dream like that

Did you watch CSI, OR ALIAS OR SOME FBI SHOW??

Do you like men in uniforms or think FBI agents are hot/cool

So maybe you just had a fantasy with all the crap you where thinking about during the day. So the dreamed about your life when your older because lets be honest during dreams who really hears talking ?? I mean how do you know that boy name is Christoper,, very rarely in dreams do you hear auditory things.

SO HONESTLY I THINK THIS COULD BE A VISION OR PREMONITION INTO YOUR FUTURE (YES IF YOU BELIEVE IN THINGS LIKE THIS THEN ITS POSSIBLE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE VISIONS OR JUST THIS IS A ONE TIME THING)

I HAVE A CHURCH MEMBER THAT SEES VISIONS ALL THE TIME AND MOST OF THEM ARE TRUE SO I DO BELIEVE IN VISIONS AND PROPHECIES

BUT ME BEING A PYSCHOLGIST I HAVE TO GO WITH REALITY AND SAY IT IS JUST YOUR THOUGHTS DURING THE DAY FORMING A DREAM/FANTASY

YES IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO A DREAM PYSCHOLGIST YOUR WELCOME TO DO THAT BUT IN MY OPIONION THESE PEOPLE ARE NO DIFFERENT THEN PYSCHICS THAT SCAM YOU BUT THERE IS SOME STUDY ON DREAMING AND PYSCHOLOGY BUT I DO NOT ENGAGE OR BELIEVE IN THAT SCHOOL OF THOUGHT

IF YOU WANT ME TO INTERPRET YOU DREAM ON A PYSCHOLOGICAL LEVEL I CAN TRY BUT I AM NO EXPERT AT IT OTHER THAN WHAT I TOLD YOU ABOVE

Dreams are simple synapses in your brain firing off all sorts of things. Your brain gathers all this random information, sights, sounds and so forth. And as you are sleeping, these sights and essentially memories are jumbled up into one big mess, just random nonsense, and your brain works and works for an hour or so trying to create a nice little story with all of these sights and sounds because it wants to make sense of it. It wants to make sense out of nonsense! So, then you end up with this dream. This happens several times in one night but when you wake up, you forget all of them, and when you do remember one of them, when you do remember at least one dream, we try to make sense of it. We tell ourselves, what is this? What could it mean. When in reality, it means nothing, it is just complete nonsense. So stop trying to make sense of it, it is nothing!

YAH DONT GET TO CAUGHT UP IN IT OR WONDER TO MUCH BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY NOTHING BAD HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE DREAM SO JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE NORMALLY AND BE LIKE COOL I HAD A INTERESTING VISION/DREAM/PREMONITION...

    OR

    you just watched inception recently

    OR

    your on drugs and hallucinating

    OR

you have schizophrenia but only a trained professional can make a clear cut diagnosis

    Good luck

What were you watching before you went to sleep that night? Did you sleep with the tv on? There's a number of things that could account for this dream... Or it could just be a dream. Do you want to be a journalist? FBI agents usually don't go for that type (conflict of interest & all)... Did you see your daughter & how did your son look? There are several books to help you decipher your dreams... Check your local library.

Good luck & happy new year!

I am an expert at this, and honestly no one can tell you the exact answer but yourself. You need to dig through your thoughts. You thought about a few of these things at least once. They could be something you're afraid to happen, something you want to happen, something you don't want to happen, anything really. Just sit down and think about it.

  • maybe your wanting t obe a parent badly, and your mind chose the image of someone you already knew to put on the face of this boy. dreams are extremely hard o examine due to their nature. there are books and things to do with this but never forget a dreams a dream and can be totally non-sensical.
