If English language existed in times of Jesus, what would be the word for "Christianity"?

The word "Christianity" is derived from Greek.

Imagine that ancient Greeks spoke English. What would be the right word?

    At the time of Jesus there was no "Christianity" - he was sent to the Jews to renew/re-structure their relationship with God.

    You're a prime example of the line from the poem - "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing"
