Which sword is better for str training ss or bgs on runescape?
I just got a ton of cash. I can either stay with my ss and have torags or some type of barrows. Or I can get a bgs with rune and the fighter torso. Eventually, I will be able to buy some good armor for my bgs but that would take a while. Dont tell me to get a whip to because I'm also trying to get my str up. But most importantly which one would be the best for pking. I cant really decide because the ss is as fast as a whip but the bgs hits nicely. I'm currently using the ss and I do pretty well with it I never fail my spec and I kill a lot of high lvls. But, I am wondering if I would do better with a bgs. Be specific and tell me why I should keep my ss or go for a bgs.

Sara Sword. Never fail spec. but main thing is fast. you will do 2x the training with the Sara Sword.

I own a BGS and I am not very impressed with it. I would stick with the ss until you have at least 85 att + str because you will hit probably more highly and consistently with the bgs at those levels and above. I'm guessing your like me and cannot be bothered doing all the crap for monkey madness or got the wrong talisman *me* otherwise I'd say dragon scimitar. But one possible reason for getting the bgs is because they are quite cheap at the moment and if free wilderness people will by them to pk and they may rise. But thats a risk so pretty much use a SS or Dragon Scimitar.

Use ss because well its like whip but better and its better then bgs because bgs takes so long to hit even tho bgs has high str bonus doesn't mean its going to hit 30+ every hit. you could probably hit two 20's with your ss in 1 turn but it takes your bgs to hit 20+ in 2 turns, and and no 1 really pks with ss since its high risk and they could just use dragon scim, most ppl use bgs to pk to lower def and such so ye, ss for str training, Bgs for pking.
