Why is it the parent that names us? Why can't we name our own names?

Because, when your born you can't even wipe your own *ss...how are you going to think of a name for yourself?

I don't know any baby that comes out and can tell us their name.

This is kind of a strange question.

The parent names the baby because the baby can not.

If we let them name themselves then we would have to wait for them to talk. So for the first part of their lives they would not have a name.

And when it would be time for them to pick a name...it would probably be something like....

Teddy bear

Cheerio

Peak-a-boo

Rattle

Goo Goo

Ga Ga

Mama

Dada

Nana

Nona

I think it'd be great to choose own name when older. I knew a couple people who just plain insisted on their name being other than their birthname (first or middle) in middle school, and we just went alot with it, even the teacher. It was fine.

I really do not know but if we chose it we would be so little we would make up an odd name and be stuck with it for the rest of our lives and then we would blame ourselves for being made fun of or anything else

Most likely because at age 1 day (or thereabouts) the name you would probably give yourself would be something like "ghooghoo" or "ghaaghaa." But then that may fit your personality??

if when I give birth and my baby states its name then that's the name.. until then I'll name my children

you can have your name legally changed.

i suggest something cool like asteroid man or black hawk 42-x!

because if you choose your name when your young, you'll probably pick something really stupid like princess or monster truck.

Like it's because you are A BABY AT THE TIME! Duh!
