I have a stock 02 v6 mustang. I'd like to make it SLIGHTLY louder. Is adding just a muffler a good idea?

I don't want to spend a boat-load of money but I would like to add just a muffler. I don't want x-pipes or duels necessarily unless I can do it cheaply. I have been looking at:

Flowmaster Super 44's

Flowmaster Delta (50? 60? idk the difference)

ANY suggestions on what kind of muffler's to get or if thats even a good idea will be appreciated.

btw- i dont like cherry bombs' sound

    flowmaster 60's r the quietest, 50's r a lil louder, and 40's r the loudest. but idk how much it will be worth it because i just cut the muffler off of mine and im very happy with it.
