a metric problem. how to convert hectometers to hectares (hm-> hm^2, or ha)?

for example

200m X 250M = how many ha?

ha is hectares. 1 hectare is the same as one square hectometer. ha = hm ^2

1 hm^2 is 10,000m^2

how can i find the example?

    You mean, how do you convert SQUARE hectometers to hectares? You just said yourself "1 hectare is the same as one square hectometer".

    "How to convert hectometers to hectares" makes no sense. One is a unit of length, the other is a unit of area.

    If you have a rectangular plot that's 200m by 250m, then that's 200*250 = 50,000 square meters. You said 10,000m^2 is 1 hm^2, so 50,000 m^2 is 5 hm^2, which is 5 hectares.

    1ha = 100m*100m = 10,000m^2

    250m*250m = 6.25has.
