What is Ancient history vs Modern history?

What I mean is

What is considered ancient history and what is considered modern/recent history?

Example They tend to call it Ancient Greece instead of just Greece. But when it comes to Egypt they just call it Egypt. I don't hear many people call it Ancient Egypt. But Egypt is older than Greece. So exactly what is the criteria for considering something to be ancient?

1,999 years ago and after is modern history and 2,000 years ago and before then is ancient history?

As in What's the threshold? What time period or year is the cut off point between modern history and ancient history? 1,000 years ago, 6,000 years ago, 10,000 years ago?

I hope you get my question.

This is something I've been curious about lately. Because I notice that not everyone seems to have a clear cut, clean cut, unified definition of what's ancient history and what's modern history.

The year is 2010 AD, but we do not live in modern times yet. Since Earth is still set up in an archaic, knowledge-ignorance format where god-kings (who hold the knowledge) rule over the masses (who bask in ignorance), we are literally (yes, literally) still living in ancient times.

"God-king" is defined as "a human sovereign believed to be a deity or to have godlike attributes"
