Turtle beach headset(px21) any answers will do!!?
Im getting a turtle beach px21 headset for new years and i want to know these things:
1:i heard you CANNOT turn off mic monotoring(the thing where you can hear yourself talk back when you say something)....is this true??
2:Is it good for short gaming sessions(i like to game for about 2 games of black ops and then come back in bout half an hour)
3:Does the mic muzzle because my teammates allways complain about my bluetooth muzzle.
4:Is it 80$ in best buy??

1. True, you CANNOT turn off the mic monitoring, but I have an identical pair of turtle beaches and believe me the mic monitoring isn't a big deal. I honestly don't even notice my own voice in the mic unless i turn the game volume all the way down and he chat volume all the way up. But the volume of the game covers your own voice (you can still hear friends very well if you are talking to them though).
Basically there is no problem because the game and chat volume adjust separately and you can't hear yourself, it will fit to your preference.
2. Absolutely. It is great for any length gaming session. The don't need to warm up and the sound doesn't deteriorate at all over time.
3. Not at all. They are so high quality i guarantee they don't muzzle.
4. Yes they are $80 at best Buy (link to best buy site with details and price below)

I hope you enjoy the headset! And if I may offer some setup advice... If you intend to play in HD plug the headset into the "Audio Out" ports on the back of your TV instead of using a splitter to get sound out of the back of your console.

Go with a logitech headset mate i got one at Play N Trade for 30 bucks and it works fine, i always though turtle beach where overpriced.
