No, no, no. That other recipe is straight up peanut butter in the center, that's no good. I made these last week for my work and everyone loved them, I still have some in my fridge at home.

1 large jar creamy peanut butter

    1 pound confectioners sugar

1 and a half cups of oats

    2 tablespoons melted butter

Crush the oats in a blender, food processor, or just in a bowl with a can. Mix these all together.

Roll into small balls, put on wax paper lined cookie sheet in the freezer for at least 10 min.

On the stove on low, melt 2 and a half bags of semi sweet choc chips. Dunk with spoon, and put back on wax paper. Keep in fridge.

Use the recipe for Buckeye candy from allrecipes.com. These are really good, use a better chocolate for dipping them if you wish.

    Ingredients

4 (16 ounce) jars peanut butter

    3 1/2 (16 ounce) packages confectioners' sugar

    1 cup butter, melted

    3 (12 ounce) packages semi-sweet chocolate chips

    2 tablespoons shortening

    Directions

1.Blend together the peanut butter, sugar and melted butter. Allow to chill in refrigerator.

2.Roll into 1 inch round balls and return to refrigerator.

3.In a double boiler over medium heat, melt the chocolate and shortening. Whisk together until smooth.

4.With a toothpick inserted in the balls, dip them into the chocolate so they look like buckeyes. Place on waxed paper and allow to set in refrigerator.

another similar recipe there calls for vanilla also. check that out if you want.
