Why is my back Root Canal Tooth gone black?

There is no pain - it's just all black - I know that root canal teeth go dark - but this one is jet black.

I had a root canal and Crown Filling done on it. Please help me

This may be due to the color of the filling (silver amalgam) specially if the filling is big in size, it may be due to root canal treatment as u said most of the RCT teeth got darker or it may be recurrent caries depending on how long it is root canal treated

for more info u can contact me as ahmadhashem41@yahoo.com (same for messenger)

Call your dentist. If you have had a crown placed on it, theres not way it could have stained black.
