I don't know what "formula" they use to designate Top Contributors is. I have lost mine, and regained them, in the past. But what I DO know is that it is a combination of how many questions you answer in that section during the week, and how many Best Answers you get.
To maintain my "tags" I know I need to answer at LEAST 2-3 questions per day in the category.
Just keep at it... you have a good chance of regaining the moniker sooner than you think.
As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

I remember back when I thought the orange vadge was something cool, well over a year ago. For the last 15 months, it's just been an indication that I'm about to get suspended. LIke, within 48 hours.

If you haven't answered something like 100 questions in one section in a month and averaged more than 10% BA they take it off you. It comes and goes.
It's a pointless bit of tatt really, only used to identify the cheeky contributors to those with so little life or laughter in them that they must report any comment they fail to understand...which turns out to be most comments made here apart from their own.

I lost mine too long ago. I believe it has to do with the number of points you amount in a period of time and your best answer percentage.

You have to have a percentage of Best Answers, usually 15% does it. (plus this week there was a glitch)

It's just a stupid badge that doesn't mean anything. And it doesn't have anything to do with questions, since I never ask any. It has something to do with frequency of best answers or percentage of best answers.

Under the new rules, you must master's degree or higher in theology. If you have one, then fax it into Yahoo headquarters and they will reinstate your TC.
