How to get to sleep quickly?

sometimes it can take me around 2 hours to get to sleep.

last night i got in bed at 10:30 and fell asleep at 12:30.

I think its because i hear noises during the night and i start to panic and sweat, lol.

are there any ways to get to sleep quicker?

    If you spend more than 25 minutes trying to get to sleep get out of bed and do something else. No TV / computer / video games 2 hours before bed. keep light in your room to a minimum. No eating strait before bed. Check your closet for zombies (im not even joking I used to freak out at little noises and I find that this tip really stopped me stressing). Read a book (preferably slightly boring) if you can't sleep.

    listed below are the matters I recognise that'l support you to sleep correct some way... Drink scorching milk whilst approximately to sleep... You must now not sleep for the period of afternoon, you can also however do not over sleep, a good way to hassle you at night time... Wear cozy garments... Your mattress must be comforting... You can't sleep whilst anything's bothering you... Read a run of the mill pocketbook or watch a run of the mill exhibit... Hear mellow song... Lie in mattress, near your eyes, then rely until you fell asleep... Do your hatest paintings... Watch the pendulum swing... Don't over transfer whilst in mattress, you're going to be enegized via that. When mattress time is close, hinder doing heavy pursuits like undertaking... Some persons without problems fell asleep whilst their complete, others do not. AMEN.

    If you notice that your mind still wanders after much effort to the contrary, find another monotonous vision. Each mind is different in this world, but every sane mind can be self-controlled.

    Keep in mind that the 10 minutes is focused on a constant. If your mind wanders, practice reigning it in to the preferred vision. Eventually, this will be perfected and you'll notice the difference.

    Don't try too hard. Sometimes just focusing on not thinking of anything else brings stressful thoughts and interruptions to this exercise. Relax and try to think of your vision.

    Make sure you relax prior to clearing your mind. Thinking of relaxing is an interuption.
