antibiotics are making me sick?
i've been taking amoxicillin for my acute bronchitisis since the 28th, they didn't really start bothering me until yesterday..i couldn't eat anything i was really nauseousus. last night i felt like it was so hot i was shaking and my stomach hurt really bad so i justdidn'tt take my antibioticsbecausee all i ate yesterday was an apple and taking it on an empty stomach would have been bad. i took some Pepito bismal but it didn't help. i ended up going to bed around 1.
this morning my stomach still hurts but i'm sure it's because i haven't eaten.. what should i eat, i have to take my antibiotics this morning.
any advice?every timee i eat i can onlyy take a few bites because i feel like throwing up..
i'm 5'0 and 108 pounds
it's 875 mg and i take 2 a day for 10 days.

Try something soft that coats your stomach, like pudding or yogurt. It sounds like you may be allergic to your antibiotic, or be suffering a side effect. You may want to go get it switched for something else.

You may want to ask your dr. for promethazine that helps to keep you from getting sick with antibiotics. crackers and bread is something good to eat when taking it. it takes a couple days for antibiotics to get in your system thats why you just started feeling the side effects. try not to skip them though. they cant help if you dont take them. or if they dont stay down.

No, I don't think you are allergic. Symptoms would be itching and rash.
The N/V is probably just from the phlegm from the bronchitis.
Try and eat something light like toast or crackers orjello
Call your doc if it gets worse.

A missed dose will cause the organisms within your body to become immune to the medication. Please contact your doctor for advice if you have missed several doses of antibiotics, or more than one day's treatment, especially if you have missed doses due to side effects, or illness.
