You will need a 60GB PS3 Phat model. No that does not mean to goto the store, and buy a 60GB HDD and stick it in there and think it will work, that will not work. The 60GB models have the gut of a PS2 alongside the PS3 guts, so it can play any and all PS2/PSX/PS3 games you want. There is another Phat model that has a PS2 emulator that can play some PS2/PSX games, but I don't know what that one is.
The other option, is wait until the game becomes available on the PSN Store, and buy it on there.
The new Slim models have no backwards compatibility, period.
