Best X360 Shooter of 2010?

I like Halo Reach but other people are playing COD Black Ops. It won best shooter in the VGA (Video Game Awards) and best character who is Sergent Woods. Even most of my friends are still playing it now. So if you want to play the best shooter and follow everyone else, you should get Call of Duty. I stick to Halo Reach because you forge your own map, organized multiplayer, has more entertainment where people can fool around, and less aggressive players.

In my opinion, I'm in LOVE with Black Ops.

I've never actually been into a COD game. World at War was alright, I only liked Nazi Zombies. I picked up Modern Warfare 2 and it wasn't as intriguing as people made it out to be. The story mode was cool, but multiplayer was filled with modders on day one. Black Ops is a completely different story...I played campaign and I was hooked. It was a mysterious storyline that I'm still sorta confused on, but it was fantastic. I can play the Zombie Mode all day, its so damn good. But the multiplayer really pulled me in. I've never really played a multiplayer so much since Halo 3. The first time I played I was so in to all of it. There's a money system that you have to buy your guns with, and there is so much you customize to your needs. I find it an excellent game all around.

Halo: Reach was also a great game, but I'm still true to Halo 3. I'm not sure why I didn't enjoy it as much...I just felt you were doing the same thing over & over again.

I have to say I've got my money's worth with both games, but Black Ops went farther than I expected..

Halo Reach is fantastic and you can get it at a decent price preowned nowadays. It also has co op mode as well as just death match.

Black Ops is good, but I preferred modern warfare two. (You could probably get both Halo and MWF2 for the same price as buying black ops new.)

As for other good action/adventure games:

Fable 3

Alan Wake

Fallout New Vegas

Left for Dead 2

and if you've never played it - get a copy of borderlands cos its fantastic too :)

Id say reach

also a great action adventure game is Red Dead Redemption

or Assassins Creed Brotherhood

I would choose Reach because there is more value there. I finished COD in 2 days and had no desire to play it any more...but its up to you.

The best game of the year as far as I am concerned is Red Dead Redemption. I played that for a month straight, and with the new DLC that has recently come out, there is probably another month of gameplay...just in single player alone.
