Why wont my driver side door lock or unlock with remote?

I just bought a 2004 Pontiac Vibe and cannot seem to get the driver side door to unlock or lock with the keyless entry remote. I need help at the car lot i bought it from they seemed to unlock it with the remote.

Update:

All of the other doors unlock just not the driver door

    First thing to try is put a new battery in the remote .

    its the two electric powered or mechanical on the lock Popper i could initiate there are you able to pay attention the popper popping once you hit the swap in case you could it the rod got here off in case you could its electric powered
