how do i upgrade my ipod touch 1st gen to ios 3.1?
my dad just gave me his old ipod touch and i want to upgrade it to ios 3.1 how do i do this. also how do i reset it so i can have my own account on it without erasing the music and pics he already has on it?

Plug In your ipod
Go into iTunes
Under devices it should say. Your name's iPod
Click there
It should bring up the screen u see when u sync
Click update and follow the onscreen instructions :)
