Does your state/country have a graduation test..?
That you must take before you graduate? How many parts and if you fail, do you get to make it up? What grade do you take it in? What's your state? If you took it, did you fail any?
My state has it and it has 5 parts. If you fail, they'll send you to summer school to retake it. You take it in the 10th grade and it's Ohio. They usually start the tests around march/April.

I live in Ireland. Our whole entry into University is based off our grades in our graduation exam called the Leaving Certificate.
You take it in the June of your last year in school. You have to take a minimum of 6 subjects but most people do between 7-9. I did Irish, English, Maths, German, Music, Physics, LCVP & Economics. English, Irish, Maths, German and Music have two parts to them. Music also has a practical exam while Irish & your foreign language consist of an extra oral exam & aural exam.
If you fail Irish, English or Maths then you fail the whole Leaving Cert and have to wait until the next year to retake your Leaving Cert. If you fail any other subjects you don't have to go back to school but you might have to retake the exam if you want to go to University. There are also PLC courses which are courses based on a specific area that you want to enter into at Uni level. Our scores are in points e.g. 90-100% = 100 points and if you don't get enough points for your course, you can do a PLC. The maximum score is 600 points so even if you do 8 or 9 subjects you can only use 6 of your results, your best results.
I did my Leaving Cert and got 410 points which is above average and didn't fail anything!
Edit: Oops forgot the BQ.

In New York ,we have regents exams . In order to graduate we need a "regents diploma" . Regents are standardized tests to graduate HS in NY state . We need at LEAST 5 with a passing grade of 65 or higher . If you fail , you have to repeat the class in the subject which you took the regents and take it again . (It pretty much sucks if you fail , Regents are 3 hour long tests , but luckily i never failed any)
Regents SUCK . I have to take The English regents in January , and then Earth Science , U.S History, and Geometry in June >.>

We live in Massachusetts, and we the MCAS. You take the Biology section in 9th grade, and the English and Math section in 10th grade.
You HAVE to pass English and Math in order to graduate. If you don't you retake it over and over until you do, but if you can't pass it by the end of 12th grade, you don't get a diploma, just a "certification of attendance" which is pretty rough.

No , i don't think so. You just need to get all your credits. We have a test required in grade 10 i believe it is and it's a literacy test. If you fail it , you must re-take it till you pass , but i think you only can retake it once every year,

We have a PSAE and honestly I know nothing about it. I'm from Illinois and I just moved here in July. I just know we take it as a junior and I think it has 5 parts and we take it in April and if you get high enough scores it can excuse you from semester finals. I don't think we can retake it but I have no idea :3

i be attentive to your soreness with the Ohio commencement try (I had it in the spring of 2006), yet regrettably you will ought to take their try. tell your dad I stated this although...in case you progression TO GEORGIA, do no longer pass TO SAVANNAH!!!!!!!!!!!! have faith me, Savannah, Georgia has the worst colleges available (i would be darned if I see worse ones) - they ought to be the worst colleges in united statesa.! I had to spend 0.5 a year there and that i thoroughly could have dropped out if i did no longer pass. Staying removed from public college in Georgia ought to help too. jointly as this occurred 8 years in the past, they're precisely an identical now (and lie approximately having an prolonged historical past of excellence - it is so some distance from the reality). Georgia has wacky people, like the female who desires to restrict Harry Potter from public colleges.
