My best friend's guinea pig died today, what should I do for her?

Let your friend know that you'll be there for her. If it helps her to talk about Oreo, listen. She may want to do some sort of memorial for her guinea pig, so help in any way you can.

Some people have suggested that you get your friend another guinea pig, which is a sweet idea but not great advice. Oreo will never be replaced & another pig will be a whole and very different relationship. If your friend wants to adopt another guinea pig when she feels ready, that's fine but getting another one immediately probably won't make her feel better.

She is lucky to have a caring friend like you. Losing a beloved pet is so painful and some people don't really understand this.

Aww! Let her know that your just as sad as her, but she did everything she could and Oreo had a nice long life. Dont rush her into getting a new one, because it takes a while to heal after something like that. hope this helps!

Be there for here. You're good enough to be here to ask about the way to cheer your friend up. Accompany her to do anything she wants to do. You can't really do anything, let the time heals, she'll eventually forget it.

Buy her a new one and surprise her with it=D
