How do I transfer music from my ipod to my computer?
I just got a new computer and am trying to set up itunes and my music library. After a long time, I finally got all of the music that I purchased on itunes on to the computer. Although, I also have about 100 songs that I didnt buy on itunes, I got from the internet and websites that havnt synced. I have all of my music, including the other songs, on my moms computer and i want to transfer it to mine now. I dont know how to transfer those other songs I didnt buy on itunes. I didnt get the songs off limewire or anything like that and my mom has a Mac and I have a PC if that makes any difference.

1. Buy a flash drive.
2. Find the songs on your mom's computer.
3. Transfer said songs to flash drive.
4. Plug flash drive into your computer and copy them into My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music.
5. iTunes should recognize them in your library.
6. ???
7. Profit!
(You may have to paraphrase those folder names if you're not in Windows XP)

If you still have your old computer you can transfer all of those songs onto a flash drive and then put them on your new computer. If you don't know how to do that you open up "my music-iTunes-music" all of your music on your itunes should be stored there. You can get these songs onto a flash drive and then open up the same thing on your new computer and put the songs in there. Once you have done that you drag them into you iTunes library and you are good to go. If this works you should rate me as the best answer haha.

The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-mac transfer program to help you. This is how I did. I used AVCWare Mac iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer

It can help easily transfer all music, photos, videos, podcast, and TV shows on your iPod back to Mac completely and safely, and add them to your local iTunes library. Also, you can use it to transfer files from iPod to iTunes or from Mac to iPod, or from iPod to iPod in a direct way.
The great thing is that it won't cause any deletion of any files while transferring.
