It was in 1963 and we were headed east on a State Road when we came to a cross road. Suddenly this huge dark hairy creature emerged from the marshy area on the north side of the road and in 3 steps, it had crossed the road down into the wooded area to the south. We raced back to town to get a flashlight to see if there were tracks. Muddy, enormous spots or tracks were all we could find the actual tracks had been swallowed by the mud.

Subsequently this area was turned into a State park and protected area.

This is a true story. My brother and I were walking up a trail by a creek. I saw what I thought was a mossy rock that kind of looked like a head and I told my brother, Look a sasquatch. To my horror a large apelike creature stood up and turned menacingly at me. It turns out it was just a biker having a nice rest by the creek until some idiot called him a sasquatch. I think he saw by our shocked expressions that we didn't really mean the insult. We saw his motorcycle a bit up the trail.

My brother and I were looking for bigfoot evidence at Bluff Creek where the famous film was shot. We parked on the side of the road just above where the film was made. We were confident noone was around and noone would go down there because when we drove down we had to move a lot of rocks out of our way. We went to sleep on the side of the road. My brother woke up screaming out in pain. I jumped up with a flashlight and shined it at him just in time to see a mouse scampering out of his bag and him stomping off into the bush after it. He said it bit me. That mouse bit me. Since it was pretty well chased off, I had a good laugh and we settled back down to go to sleep. After about a minute, I heard steps and I told my brother, be quiet, listen. We heard this thing walking down the road toward us. It was a dirt road that was made for hauling out timber. Anyway we layed there listening to this thing walking toward us with slow steady steps. As it got closer, you could hear the heal strike and a very long rolling motion of the feet through each step. It became obvious that it was walking on two feet since each step was so clear and it was a even slow crunch crunch crunch but slow. You could actually hear the gravel crushed under its feet. It was obvious that it was somethig extremely heavy. I was freaking out because I was out in the middle of nowwhere and this monster was bearing down on us but we stayed and waited. Eventually I thought it would appear out of the darkness. I honestly don't remember why I didn't shine a flashlight on it but I didn't. We waited still longer and it was really loud and close and we couldn't stand it anymore and we both jumped up and got in the care and sped away. I wish I didn't but survival instinct is really hard to ignore. I often wonder if it heard my brother scream in pain and came to help or see what was up. The fact that it was so close to us made us wonder if it might have been watching us all along. It was the scariest thing that ever happened to me.

I seen a a creature that was half human and half gorilla which could have been a bigfoot but I am so not that sure and I think a bigfoot is half gorilla and half human

This actually happened to my teachers friend. Only in Florida they are called "Skunk Apes". My teachers friend was driving in Florida and he was in the middle of nowhere. It was late at night and he heard strange noises in coming from his car. He puts the car in neutral and starts checking his front tire. when he bends back up he sees a giant creature looking down at him and the lights on his car are reflecting off it's red eyes. He jumps into his car and puts his car in gear and hits the gas just as he hears a giant BANG on the back of his car. He drives and drives until he gets back into a town. When he pulls over he checks the back of his car and sees two large indents on the back of his car where the "Skunk Ape" was. like it smashed it's hands into the back of his car. Creepy, huh?

my neighbor has a pet yeti with one big foot thateats squash and gives them lots of sass. he is very tmid and shy and he only comes out at dusk. he really is a legend in his own time.
