15 years old. wanting a cartilage piercing. how to bring this up to parents?
so i've asked my parents before if i could get one about a year ago, and they thought about it and said no because i was too young. however, i am older now i am thinking about bringing it up again. last time i talked to them about it i reacted stupidly to their answer and threw a fit. of course i wouldn't do that now, but i'm not sure how to tell them that i still want one.?
another question: do you think 15 is a good age to get a cartilage piercing?
yeah i asked and they said no. i have to wait till im 18.
thanks anyway everyone.

Im 14 and I have mine done. You can just do it yourself with a piercing earing and some rubbing alcohol to sterilize everything. It heals a lot quicker if it's done without a gun because your not literally breaking up a ton of cartilage. My parents didn't even notice that i have it done since they don't look at my ears. And if they do find out, you can always take it out, no big deal.

No it won't disturb your strengthen. it relatively is basically an ear piercing. I have been given mine finished in december and that i've got no longer had any problems with it. in case you do get it finished basically confirm you sparkling it such as you're instructed. To be trouble-free, I did get a bump on the lower back of my ear the place the piercing is, yet I regarded on line and in case you sparkling it known it is going away and it did:)

Hi i'm 14 and I had my cartiledge piereced when I was 13.
Well. I don't know what your parents think about piercing and all, but when I told my parents, they agreed since I wasn't getting in trouble and doing well in school.
I think it doesn't matter the age for cartilage piercing, just your parent's opinion about it :-/

I'm the same age and loads of my friends have it so it wouldn't really be classed as too young but why don't you go for the 'mature' approach and promise to pay for it yourself and explain calmly how loads of your friends have it(regardless)and if they refuse just walk away and let them rethink :D hope i helped

Just ask them and tell them that you won't throw a fit no matter what their decision. I am 13 and I point blank told my mom I wanted my cartlodge peirced. The only reason she told me no was because it was a bad time. Hope I helped!!!!! :)
