It can vary greatly! Google: party venue, your city (or theater, banquet hall, etc) and you will come across some listings for your area, or websites with many listings. That's one place to start. If you know of someplace that you'd like to use, call them up and ask. What venues do other people who are doing something similar use?

To get an accurate idea of cost, one thing you'll need to know and tell them is how many people you want the venue to accommodate, seated or standing. Anything else you might need.
