if i get into Cal Poly Pomona, would they rescind my acceptance?

i got a D in pre-cal first semester (senior year) and i'm worried my acceptances will be rescinded for it. i'm doing a pre-cal make up class at csm this semester and the grade i get in that class will replace the D. and i'm switching into finite this semester so it's not as difficult, but i'm not completely giving up on math, i'm still continuing. my counselor told me to send an email to all the colleges i applied to, explaining the situation, but i'm still nervous. any thoughts?

Unless they ask for it, do not send in your Fall semester transcript. Instead, wait until the end of the spring semester with your new and { I hope ] vastly improved math grade.

If you do get a demand for the Fall semester early, of course you have to comply - that is when you send it in simultaneously with a cover letter.

Either way, you are probably okay. We see often a very good student who has one bad class or semester after we admit the applicant and I cannot remember ever rescinding an admission.

BTW - very fine school. I hope you enjoy your college experience there.
