Yes it can. Owners of apple macs can download 'facetime' from the apple website which then allows them to video chat with ipod touches (4th gen), iphone 4s and any other macs that have downloaded facetime (provided they have a webcam). You can also video chat by using the 'skype' application. It has recently been updated to allow video chatting and can be downloaded from the app store and from the website to any type of computer with a webcam.

No and that's really stupid i think besides you cant even use its camera for skype either GOSH Apple is driving me crazy

Oui Oui [yes in french], all you have to do is "facetime" with another mac via iChat!
