I've been watching World's Dumbest pretty much since it came out...?
Why are about 80% of the dumbest people from Florida? Do you think it's because of the lack of education (because they are so far behind than schools in the North) or the lack of harsh punishments imposed by the court system?
Judges down here are all F'd up. Kill a homeless guy and get 5 years with (with having a record a mile long). Rob 3 banks with a gun get 10 years probabtion. Hit 2 kids and kill them while drunk and get like 3 years and your license returned. Get caught with a gram or less of weed and get 5 years minimum.
If your too stupid too pass a certain grade; it's OK, you can go on to the next. If you're too smart for your grade level; too bad. You're not old enough to advance.

Im thinking its probably both, you have to figure most people in Florida are retired so they really don't care about the educational system there because their childern are already out of school and into their own career. So when these retiree's vote they tend to vote to benefit themselves instead of the educational system. Also most criminals are idiots thats why they turn to crime because they can't do anything that requires thought. Im not sure of Florida's court system or laws but I would assume that it sucks so therefore there is more crime.
