What was the first potion made in the Harry Potter Series?

By that I mean not the first potion Harry and Hermione made or the first potion's class. There's all this information about what happened before that, in the history of the Wizarding World. In that history what was the first potion made? Otherwise how far back can potions be traced?

You'd never be able to tell. It probably wasn't recorded. Magical historians would just have to make an educated guess. Just like real history.

I do believe that's impossible to tell. If anyone would know it is JK Rowling her self. She did say that she had the whole world written down on thousands of pieces of paper for every little detail, so I'm sure she has it. But I don't think she's ever told anyone. If I had to guess, it'd be the Pepper Up Potion.
