Can you pay to take theft 3 off your record?
Im having issues getting jobs probably because theft 3 (misdemenor) is on my record due to something that happened with my friend and i last year. All i got was a fine, and its the ONLY thing on my record. I really need to get it off to improve my chances of getting jobs...cant you pay to get first offenses off? Please answer only serious answers.

You can petition the court to have the misdemeanor expunged. Your chances are better with a knowledgeable attorney to advise you and file the paperwork.
The rules will vary by state.

Google for "expunge misdemeanor" in your state.
If your petition is granted, then the misdemeanor won't be visible on your public records (and you may have to work with the reporting agencies to make sure they update their records).
You can also petition to "seal and destroy" an arrest record. That will remove it even from law enforcement's files.
