It is just a matter of confidence. Don`t be afraid of making mistakes and try and speak as much as you can. This was one of the biggest barriers for me in my Japanese language ability and I just had to force myself to be as confident as possible and not worry about what people were thinking. You can only learn from making mistakes, so they are a good thing and you don`t need to speak perfect Japanese straight off the bat for people to understand you.

I'm guessing they name you homosexual on account that they feel that Kpop is identical to women drooling over part-bare men. It's like if a man listens to 1D or Justin Bieber cuz they're middle throbs. I do not feel there may be something fallacious with it. I imply you must exhibit them a % of Sandara or Yoona and be like 'Your face, her face. Now you understand why I Iike Kpop'

We're in the same situation. I go to japanese school on wednesdays and to french school on saturdays. I'm also very shy when i'm trying to speak a new language, because i'm afraid that i might sound stupid by saying something totally nonsense. What i do to make sure that what i'm saying is right is listening before talking. How? I always watch japanese subtitle videos and subtitled songs. So my advide would be to watch a lot of japanese and in case you don't want to say something or you just don't want to, try to tell the person how you feel.

Like all new languages it's very difficult or embarrassing to master the correct phonetics, All I can suggest is to practice as much as you can with a native. I would also like to add that if it makes you feel better please apologize ahead of time ,when you introduce your self, that you are still mastering the language that way when you do mess up and say something not in the correct formality you don't offend an elder or a very important person. Also minimize your eye contact bc in Japan it is not polite to look at someone in the eyes..it's like MAD DOGGING them or a challenge.

There really isn't much you can do except keep practicing pronunciation, and if you have a teacher, ask them to check if you're saying things correctly. Over time, you'll most likely get the hang of it. Good luck.
