Im looking for a 50mm lens for my Yashica FX-3 but im unsure on the mount, what lens will fit this body?
My grandmother gave me this camera about a month ago because I had some interest in using a film camera, rather than the Nikon digital I have been using. It came with a few lenses starting around the 70-80mm range and extending from there. Im really looking for a 50mm fast prime but I have no idea what will mount to it, searching eBay there are so many options of what im looking for but they all have different letters on the end im sure representing their mount. Ive even seen some that were AF? Can my camera control an AF lens? The two lenses I have now are both MF. Thanks for the help. <3

The lens mount is Yashica, or Contax/Yashica. Not very popular way back when, and not much on the market for the Yashica mount now. It is usually called the Y/C mount.
All they had on Ebay was this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Yashica-original-Manual-Focus-... but at least it is what you wanted!
No, that body will not control an AF lens. All manual, all the way.
Here are a few more... the Adaptall 2 mount and lens look pretty decent... http://cgi.ebay.com/TAMRON-YASHICA-CONTAX-Y-C-ADAP... and http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamron-Adaptall-2-35-135mm-Mac... , or here is a 28-85 http://cgi.ebay.com/Tokina-AT-X-28-85mm-F-3-5-4-5-...
