What would u do if u win a huge lottery jackpot & find out you've lost the winning ticket?

Okay, here's the scenario...You're the sole winner a huge lottery jackpot, like tonight's MEGA Millions (a staggering 242 mil.) you take your family and closest friends somewhere by the sea to break the great news to them, when a sudden gust of winds flies the winning ticket from your hand and into the sea, what would you do in this situation provided none of you guys can swim.

Also what would you do if the winning ticket flew out of your family member/close friend's hand?

I know it's far fetched, but let's just assume it happens!

Happy new year to all :)

Pretty hard for a wind to blow it out of your hand if it's in a safe or safety deposit box. Announcing the win to family and friends is way down the list of things to do when winning the big one. Mind you staging a fake announcement like that sounds like fun.

I would most likely cry and scream into the sky. Then collapse and crawl into a ball. Lol, who wouldnt do so if you lost so much money? Are you guys CRAZY! You know how much you can buy with all those MILLIONS!? :P

If my family member happened to lose the ticket i would threaten to rip the ticket unless i got 50%

    Info on topic:

Lottery tickets are bearer instruments, just like cash. If you lose your ticket, anyone can claim it. It is always wise to sign your ticket immediately after purchase to identify it as yours and to help prevent someone else from cashing it, in the event that it is lost or stolen.

I'd go dive in after in. Even though it would be like 10 degrees. Oh well.. i'm desperate..
