Haha. My hugest pet peeve are badly said grammar....
But seriously, I can't stand bad grammar. Offline or online. The internet is no excuse for being lazy.

Y!A does have a spell checker, but there are some innocent words like "practice" that it doesn't approve of. It doesn't have a grammar check either, but questions like yours make me wish it did. Besides, if you frequent the Language section often enough, you'll know that writing in another language counts as misspellings, so I don't always bother using the spell check to sort through what I've written. You also have to take into consideration typos and ESL learners. To be honest, I usually don't mind bad spelling or grammar on Y!A as long as it doesn't prevent me from understanding what a person is trying to say.
