I have a very old watch...?

The manufacturer's name is "Cortland", 17jewels on front,silver and gold,diamonds on leather,and gold band,chain link-clasp? Anyone have any info?

    A photo would make things easier, 17 jewel movement or 17 jewels on the watch face, I assume it's a woman's watch? This is the ONLY one I could find , Cortland is either the manufacturer or the name given to the watch on the face, Sometimes if you open the watch there is info on the inside. there should be and also a Serial number.
