I was dumped on V-day and its coming closer...?
Last year I was dumped by a girl rights before Valentines day.
I bought her a plush animal right before the valentines dance, and she looked all bored, so i asked whats wrong, and she said nothing.
The night before valentines day, i saw her on yahoo, and i was about to tell her about how much i love her, then she told me that she liked someone else.
Well, Vday is coming closer, and theres a new girl i like (check my older question), but i still am starting to feel that excruciating pain from last year...

What you are feeling is very normal, its the anniversary of a painful incidence of your life and emotions do have memory. That was so sweet of you to buy her a plush animal, shows you are a sensitive, kind young man. Some girls are not capable of seeing those virtues in a guy, that does not mean other girl won't see them. I can almost guarantee this coming Valentine is going to be a fresh, new and positive experience. Look forward to it, "as a man thinks, so is he"

That feeling is natural, it's bound to happen. This is your first V day since it happened, you just need to get past this and you'll be ok.
You have a new girl to focus on, so do that! Make this a happy V day and that's what you'll think of when it comes around next year.
