Can i still buy a new ipod nano 5th generation in stores after 6th generation came out?

    yes and no...

    Stores won't just toss out the old ones they haven't sold. if you look hard enough you may find a store with a few still in stock. unfortunately you would still be paying full price ofr an "obsolete" model.

    one of your best options is to buy a clearance, or refurbished one directly from apple's website.

    They have the full apple warranty you would get with a brand new iPod, and they are discounted.

    Don't be afraid of "refurbished", apple did all the work on them and gives them brand new outsides so it works and acts brand new!
