How do you meet people on line to chat with?
I have seen a lot of movies , and have heard a lot of stories of people meeting people and becoming best of friends online. However all I have witnessed to is people or companies asking for money to meet someone.. Is this whole computer thing a big gimmick or what?

Well the movies take ideas from the things that make us happy or are funny or incredible. There ARE people who've made good friends online, they're just a very very very small percentage. Most people wanting to chat are either bored and just want to have someone to grumble and don't care about friendship or just horny.
