Help me to invest for saving Income tax?

I am female working in one of the event management company, for A.Y.2011-12, I dont want to pay tax, for that I am ready to invest in PPF. Please some one can help me, that how much tax I have to pay for my annual earning of Rs.296500.00 and If I dont want to pay tax how much I should invest in PPF.

    you can 70,000 to post office public provident fund ppf

    deduct if any property tax is added- - tds -
