How can I cash my tax return check?

I don't have a bank account and I tried Wal-mart. Even though they advertise that they cash checks up to 5k they would not honor mine even after I called the 1-800 number. Anyone know of a bank that would cash it?

    I went to BOA to cash my check.I didn't have an account with them they just ask for thumb print.

    In Seattle, Bank of America and US Bank are cashing refund checks without charging a fee. You can find out who is doing it in your area by calling around.

    Try another Walmart. Or ask a bank where to go.
