problems digesting coconut oil?
Hi, I am a foodie here in California and I love Indian food. As I get older I am having problems digesting coconut oil. It just stays in my stomach and makes me nauseous for days. I suspect I no longer produce an enzyme I need to digest it but I am guessing. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Coconut oil is a staple in the Philippines; utilized for hair, skin, frying, cooking, etc. The Philippinos use coconut oil more than any society in the world. Again a staple. It replaces canola oil, Crisco (which was invented as a machine lubricant), peanut oil, corn oil, etc. What is interesting; longevity studies confirm that the life expectancy in the Philippines is 10 years less than in the United States. What's up with that? The question comes to mind if coconut oil is so healthy; why is the life expectancy in Phil so low? When the dust settles, oils overall will be bad and animal fat good for human consumption.
