What happens if i hit someone's car lightly in parking lot and run away?

If I were to hit someone's car lightly at 5 miles an hour, and run away what will happen to me?

And there was no damage and no dent to my car. What are the consequences?

And someone probably took a picture of the license plate.

If there is no damage then no problem. But running away like that probably wasnt a good idea. Not a good habbit to have. You would get in more trouble running away then staying and having the problem fixed.

So lets see. If there were no bad consequences for you, you would just forget it? You don't care about any damage you may have done to the other car as long as you don't get caught? consequences aside, It would be called leaving the scene of an accident and you could be fined. Return and find the car and leave a note on the windshield. It is the right thing to do. Running is cowardly and simply not right! but then you knew that....didn't you?

it is not only a ethical criminal duty, that's a criminal criminal duty. She observed you hit her automobile. She has your license plates which, in case you do not touch her, she would be able to call the police, supply them your plates and record a checklist for hit and run. Your insurance is obligated to pay for the wear to the different automobile. First, touch your insurance enterprise and enable them to be attentive to what got here approximately. they are going to show you what to do at that ingredient. in the event that they don't, touch her and ask her to fulfill you on the police station. Have a police checklist crammed out. that's to guard the two certainly one of you. you do not decide on her later claiming which you probably did $10,000 of injury while it replaced into basically some scratches. Plus, your insurance enterprise might call for the police checklist earlier they pay for the damages to her automobile.

If no damage was done, then no crime was committed.
