Poodle hair cuts......?
You know the hair cut Continental? Is that only for female poodles or for males too?
I have a male standard poodle and I really like the Puppy Cut, but he's already 5 months old.
Is there a trim that looks similar to Puppy cut for the poodles that are older than a year?
I was wanting his feet, base of his tail, face and his throat shaved, and the rest of his body an inch and a half ( or however long it's supposed to be).
I know it doesn't matter which hair cut I want for him...But, if I have to pay so much money for his trim, I want it to look " dashing" if you know what I mean...

Sounds like you want a Lamb cut. That would look good on him. So would a utility clip which is basically a shorter cut and easy to keep up. Any clip can look good on male or female, but from your description, I'd look at photos of Lamb and Utility clips and see what you think.

if he's just a pet, and not a show dog, then you can have him clippered however you want.
