XOXO which is hug, which is kiss?

Also, why do X's and O's mean hugs/kisses? How did that start?

    X kiss like puckering lips

    and O is a hug like your arms wrapped around a person...like a circle

    O is hug.

    1 4 3 is I love you.

    SWAK on an envelope/letter means Sealed with a Kiss.

    Morse code and telegrapher's language and now Texting
