What is the effective turning radius of a Supertanker?

Assume open ocean, fully loaded, maximum normal traveling speed, no wind ( ya right ) AND NO ASSISTANCE!

If the information is available compare engines equally trimmed ( rudder only turn) and using engine trim to assist the turn.

Answer in either nautical or standard miles (indicate please) and an estimate of the time required to perform a full 360 degree circle also appreciated!

Whatever the DESIGN prarmeters are from the BUILDER.. there is no one good answer.. but you are looking at from 10 to 20 MILES.. or A LOT OF MILES in EITHER Knotical or Statute miles.

You DO KNOW that the HIGHER THE SPEED the LONGER THE DISTANCE.., right? It can take 5 or 6 MILES just to STOP ONE and a hell of a lot further to TURN one.
